The MA Education programme is delivered via a blended learning model that combines live, online sessions with flexible self-directed study – allowing you to continue working whilst you learn.

Virtual learning environment

Asynchronous online content on BNU's VLE (Blackboard) supports flexible, guided independent study around your schedule.

Practical assessments

Observed teaching sessions, professional presentations, and structured dialogues offer real-time leadership feedback.

Entry Requirements?

The programme welcomes applicants from a range of academic and professional backgrounds.

Standard entry

A minimum of a 2:2 undergraduate degree in any subject, combined with an interest in pursuing a career in education.

Non-standard entry

Applicants who do not meet the standard requirements but hold relevant professional experience may be invited to interview to demonstrate their readiness for Level 7 study.

Prior learning – academic, professional, or vocational – may be recognised through the Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) process, potentially granting exemption from certain modules.
